Henry Ortiz is a Legal Case Manager with The Justice Firm and a respected community advocate, nonprofit leader, and policy reform organizer based in California. Henry is the Founder and Executive Director of Community Healers United, a nonprofit organization committed to trauma-informed healing, violence prevention, reentry support, and community empowerment. Through advocacy, education, and mentorship, he works to address the root causes of incarceration, community violence, and systemic inequities.

For more than a decade, Henry has been actively involved in criminal justice reform, community organizing, and legislative advocacy throughout California. Henry previously served as a Community Organizer with Legal Services for Prisoners with Children and All of Us or None, where he helped mobilize community members, formerly incarcerated individuals, and families affected by the criminal legal system. He also served as a Northern California Organizer with TimeDone, supporting policy initiatives focused on expanding opportunities for rehabilitation and second chances.

As a Legal Case Manager with The Justice Firm, Henry works directly with English- and Spanish-speaking clients and families impacted by incarceration, civil rights violations, immigration-related matters, housing discrimination, and other legal challenges.
He assists clients by gathering records, coordinating case development, providing support throughout the legal process, and helping connect individuals with resources that promote long-term stability and success. His lived experience, cultural competency, and commitment to service allow him to effectively advocate for clients navigating difficult legal circumstances.
